Course aims

The course aims at developing teachers digital competences according to DigCompEdu model at the level B1.

Brief description of the course

The course focuses on the development of the teacher's digital competence, where the learner performs independent and group work - mapping digital competence and monitoring and proving self-development. Creates two learning scenarios enriched with digital technology, which are implemented either in school or with course participants.

Course topics: professional self-development with digital technology and teacher's digital competence, supporting the development of learners' digital competence, digitally supported learning and teaching practices, creating digital assets, digitally supported assessment and empowering learners with digital technology.

Learning outcomes in the course

Upon completing the course the student:
- analyzes own digital competence and plans development goals according to the digital competence framework and the teacher's professional standard;
- knows, selects and applies digital technologies based on the teaching field of his specialty;
- evaluates, designs, compiles and distributes digital learning materials using digital technologies;
- designs, prepares and critically analyzes digitally supported learning scenarios to support learning, empower learners, assess and develop learners' digital competence;
- selects and evaluates digital technologies for professional self-development, organizing cooperation with colleagues, students and parents.
