Course aims

To develop the knowledge about creating computer graphics and necessary technical skills to do it.

Brief description of the course

The main concepts of computer graphics. Colour room and colour models. Vector and bitmap graphics. The formats of graphic files and their usage areas. Computer graphics implement areas.

Learning outcomes in the course

Upon completing the course the student:
- knows the principles and terminology of computer graphics;
- can create vector and bitmap graphics in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.
