To provide students with the basic information needed to understand the research process, to introduce them to mathematics didactics as research domain and main research strategies.
Enable students to use this knowledge to plan and design their own research. Analyses of previous master theses.
Reading of theses related literature, analysing previous master theses, developing the plan of master study.
Learning outcomes in the course
Students are able to
-formulate their own research problem and research questions
-plan and designe their master study
Pass-fail assessment based on seminar presentations; the plan of master theses.
