Course aims

To provide students with the basic information needed to understand the research process, to introduce them to mathematics didactics as research domain.
Enable students to use this knowledge to plan and design their own research.

Brief description of the course

To provide students with the basic information needed to understand the research process, to introduce them to mathematics didactics as research domain and main research strategies.
Enable students to use this knowledge to plan and design their own research. Analyses of previous master theses.

Learning outcomes in the course

Upon completing the course the student:
- is able to formulate their own research problem and research questions;
- can plan and designe their master study.
