which includes at least 40 ECTS (high school course) / 20 ECTS (primary school course) of completed studies corresponding to or comparable to the Mathematics, Mathematical Economics and Data Analysis bachelor's programme of Tallinn University.
The admission exam consists of three parts:
- admission interview based on the previously prepared motivation letter (2000-4000 characters) (30%);
- average grade of previous studies (10%);
- admission test on school mathematics (60%).
The admission test on school mathematics assesses the basics of school mathematics knowledge of concepts and ability to use them. Presentation skills, educational background overview, description of experience related to teaching mathematics, motivation for choosing the specialty, self-development goals for master's studies.
For commencing studies on a study programme where the language of instruction is Estonian the minimum required level of proficiency in the Estonian language is B2 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, provided that the language of instruction of the student on the prior study level or stage was not Estonian.

The university may require the student with the admission decicion to complete the Compensatory Module in Mathematics. If bachelor studies don´t include Elementary mathematics I,II,III these couses should be taken additionally during master studies (gymnasium-line only). Students who have not graduated from upper secondary schools where Estonian is the language of instruction, or who have graduated from schools where Estonian is only partly the language of instruction, are required to have Estonian language proficiency at C1 level
