Course aims
To support the development of research oriented approach in education; to develop the ability to formulate research questions, to choose appropriate research strategies and to carry out the research study and to formulate it’s results.
Brief description of the course
Planning, designing, realising and documenting research in mathematics education.
Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:
- is able to plan and designe educational research and choose appropriate research strategies;
- can carry out the research, analyse empirical results, develop meaningful conclusions;
- can formulate the study.
