Focus subject of mathematics and statistics. To develop logical thinking of students, learning how to use software packages for mathematics to solve exercises in calculus, linear algebra and analytical geometry.
Brief description of the course
Data types used in the packages, mathematical operations, exact and approximate numbers. Main functions, drawing planar and spatial graphics and designing them by parameters. Using WolframAlpha for solving ordinary problems. Using the packages Mathematica and GeoGebra for solving mathematical problems (algebra, mathematical analysis, geometry).

Learning outcomes in the course
After passing the course the student knows how to use the packages Mathematica and GeoGebra for solving exercises about calculus, lineaar algebra and analytic geometry; is able to produce some simple mathematical models in Mathematica and dynamical models in GeoGebra.
To qualify to sit the graded assessment the student must present the exercises given for individual solving. The graded assessment involves the presentation of the solution reached in the computer class to the exercise set by the lecturer.
