Course aims

Optional course. Students will learn different algorithms used in programming graphics and musics.

Brief description of the course

Musical theory. Accords, harmony. MIDI. Modelling a musical instrument in computer. Sampled audio. Sound effects. Fractals, recursion.

Learning outcomes in the course

Upon completing the course the student:
- knows possibilities to manipulate musics and graphics in computer by programming;
- can use existing libraries in his own applications.
