Course aims

To develop the student´s basic skills to solve differential equations and their systems, and to demonstrate different types of applications. Core subject of the bachelor level mathematics programme

Brief description of the course

Definitions, differential equations as mathematical models. Separable variables, first-order linear equations. General theorems on differential equations of higher order. Linear systems with constant coefficients. Initial-value problems. Non-linear systems
