Course aims
To support the understanding of the quantum mechanics as non classical physics;
To support the development of modern conceptions of the micro world.
Brief description of the course
History of quantum mechanics. The internal structure of the properties of the substance. Uncertainty principle in practice and in theory. The function status. Quantum mechanics operators and their properties. Shrödingeri equation. Simpler stationary states. Angular momentum. Spin. Atom, Atomic energy levels. Nature of relativistic quantum mechanics. Diraci equation. Philosophical problems of quantum mechanics.
Independent work: In seminars, working through the material, reports, and preparation of a project.
Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:
- has ability to open discussion quantum mechanics specificity bases;
- knows the role of quantum mechanics in the global construction industry;
- understands the possibility of of non-traditional physics;
- has ability to read the specialist literature;
- has ability to independently self-improvement;
- has ability to apply the theory of quantum mechanics, quantum mechanics, simple challenges.
