Course aims
To develop and acquire deepened knowledge and practical skills of making a bulky product.
Brief description of the course
Deepend applications of technologies (wood, metal, electronics) acquired during the previous course. Planning- designing a bulky product, planning a task and making the product. Requirements for the products: integrativity, originality, innovativity, usability and quality. Composing technical project for a product (explanatory letter, drafts, tables) according to the rules enforced by TLU. Making product is proceeded from principles of work health care and safety.
Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:
- is able to independently use the knowledge acquired in the prerequisites in designing and manufacturing new objects;
- knows the basics of material selection, procurement and cost accounting;
- is able to document his / her work;
- can present his / her work.
