Course aims
General specialised subject. To familiarise the students with marketing terminology, the principles and methods of managing a company under the conditions of a changing environment and market situation, and marketing means and methods to guarantee the competitiveness of the company and a steady profit.
Brief description of the course
The essence of marketing. Marketing management. The marketing environment. Markets. Market research. Marketing information. Consumer purchase behaviour. Organisational purchase behaviour. Product policy. Marketing policy. Support policy. Price policy.
Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:
- knows modern marketing theories and their authors;
- knows specific terminology and basic concepts;
- sees links between the theory and practice of marketing.
