Course aims
Create prerequisites: to familiarize yourself with the functioning,
work culture and development methodology of an IT company; to
apply knowledge and skills acquired during studies; to acquire
new knowledge and skills; to solve tasks independently; to
develop self-analysis skills; for the growth of social competence
(communication, responsibility, teamwork, courage to ask, etc.).

Brief description of the course
Internship takes place either in a public or private company in
accordance with the internship guidelines established by the
Institute of Digital Technologies and according to the prepared
internship plan. The internship can be completed in the normal
way or early work experience can be taken into account in a
simplified way. Internships can be completed throughout the
academic year (including summer). The scope of the internship is
156 astronomical hours, which also includes filling in a diary and
preparing an analytical summary. At the internship, the student
performs tasks given by the supervisor. The internship experience
will be discussed at the seminar ending the internship.

(several students go on internship at the same company and work

Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:

- can apply existing knowledge and skills and acquire new ones to

- analyzes his work successes, failures and experience gained and
knows how to use it for self-development;
- is more socially competent in teamwork, communication with
co-workers and customers.
