Course aims
- To support the student's readiness to write and present a research paper;
- To support the student in carrying out research (in data collection and analysis, interpretation of research results);
- To support the student's readiness to discuss their research topic;
- To support the development of the student as an independent ethical researcher.
Brief description of the course
An overview of the current progress of research: research topic, research problem, theoretical framework, research aim, research questions and methods, sample. Data collection, analysis and interpretation. Interpreting research results in connection with the theoretical framework and previous research. Writing a research paper: creating a structure, introduction, methodology, presenting results, writing a discussion and a summery. Preparing for the presentation of the research paper and presenting it.
Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:
- carries out the planned research (collects data and analyses it);
- interprets their research results in the light of the previous research in particular field;
- presents the aims of research paper, research design and results;
- discusses the topic of research.

Specialty of andragogy: When participating in the research seminar II for the third time, the student must choose a new seminar topic and coordinate this subject with the responsible lecturer.
