Course aims
Purpose of the subject is to obtain necessary proficiency to teach physical education from the 1st until the 3rd form.
Brief description of the course
Aims of physical education at the first school level. Different types of physical education, while teaching the subject take into consideration differences on account of students' age. Teaching and methodology of the exercises in physical education ( theory, gymnastics, moving and ball games, dance). Developing the students' physical abilities, tests of physical abilities. Planning of physical education.
Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:
- has theoretical knowledge and methodology of teaching gymnastics, exercise and ball games, and dancing;
- has the ability to demonstrate the elements of gymnastics, and exercise, as well as the technique of dancing;
- masters the methodology of teaching gymnastics, exercise, ball games, and dancing.
