Course aims

Purpose of the subject is to obtain necessary proficiency to teach physical education from the I_st until the III_rd form.

Brief description of the course

Aims of physical education in the first school level. Different types of physical education classes, considering students` age differences while teaching the subject. Teaching and methodology of the exercises in physical education ( track and field, rhythmics, dancing, swimming). Developing of students` physical abilities, testing physical abilities. Planning of physical education.

Learning outcomes in the course

Upon completing the course the student:
- has theoretical knowledge and methodology of teaching track and field, rhythmics, dancing, swimming;
- has ability to demonstrate the elements of track and field, rhythmics, dancing, swimming, as well as the technique of winter sports.
