Course aims

To facilitate the acquisition of basic knowledge of chemistry exercises on the basis of the comprehensive school curriculum;
to facilitate the development of creative and critical thinking, problem solving, independence and collaborative skills.

Brief description of the course

Practice different types on chemistry exercises based:

- Molarity calculations
- Chemical reactions
- Solvent precentage calculations
- Concentration exercises
- Analytical chemistry exercises

Learning outcomes in the course

Upon completing the course the student:
- demonstrates a systematic understanding of the quantitative regularities of chemical processes and can explain them using models of different levels of abstraction (within curriculum-based knowledge);
- has additional knowledge of Olympiad-level tasks;
- knows different types of chemical reactions based on the elementary school curriculum;
- can present self-prepared study materials related to the specialty;
-can prepare and adapt chemistry calculation tasks for students with different linguistic and academic abilities, thereby supporting inclusive education.
