Course aims
To give an overview of the principles and methods of conducting evidence-based research in the field of creative arts therapies.
Brief description of the course
Requirements for research and stages of implementation. Different types of research designs and data collection methods. Research ethics. Qualitative and quantitative research method, combined design. Intervention study. Case study. Implementation and feasibility studies. Action research. Grounded theory.
Independent work: Reading and referencing research articles and textbooks on research methods provided by faculty.
