Course aims
To facilitate the drawing of parallels between the knowledge acquired at university and school reality;
to support the development of skills in observing and analysing pedagogical situations and the learning environment;
to support the student's adjustment to the teacher's role and development of cooperative skills;
to practice being a teacher, an educator;
to support to implementation of individual e-portfolios (in eDidaktikum environment) in a systematic self-analysis.
The subject is for those students who have three minors.
Brief description of the course
Participation in study at school, incl. observing, taking minutes and analysing the lessons of other teachers depending on the topic of observation;
preparation of study-related activities (worksheets, tests, integration projects, etc.) and participation in execution and inspection thereof;
participation in the organisation and execution of activities outside lessons;
teaching of lesson series in three subjects;
performance of practical tasks given by the university lecturers and giving feedback thereof;
Reflection on one's role and activities at school;
The subject ends with profession defense.
Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:
- is able to plan the learning and teaching process as a whole, incl. selection of suitable study materials, methods, evaluation models, depending on the objectives of a specific area, general pedagogy and education;
- is able to associate and consider, when planning and conducting the teaching process, the skills and knowledge acquired at university;
- is able to adjust the teaching process based on specialist literature;
- has an in-depth knowledge of the subject didactics;
- is able to analyse one's role as a teacher and reflect on one's teaching and specialist competence using the e-portfolio.
