Course aims

The purpose of this course is to acquaint students to principles of creation of digital media clips and to provide provide opportunities to acquire theoretical and practical knowledge and skills for creating media clips for digital learning materials.

Brief description of the course

Creating digital media clips for digital learning materials. Theoretical basis and basic skills for photo editing, audio- and video editing, animation.

Learning outcomes in the course

Upon completing the course the student:
- knows the principles of digital picture editing;
- knows the principles of digital audio recording and editing;
- knows the principles of digital video recording and editing;
- knows the principals of animation;
- is able to edit digital image files;
- is able to record and edit digital audio- and videoclips;
- is able to create simple animations.
