Course aims

To provide opportunities for obtaining basic knowledge and skills for creating multimedia based applications. Provide opportunity to obtain basic programming skills. To support the development of skills for creating digital learning materials.

Brief description of the course

Web page as environment for multimedia. HTML and CSS. Principles for web design. Adding interactivity and controlling media playback with Javascript.

Learning outcomes in the course

Upon completing the course the student:
- knows principles of using multimedia elements;
- knows principles of creating web pages;
- knows important elements of HTML;
- knows important tools of CSS;
- knows basics of programming and basics of Javascript;
- is able to create web pages with digital media clips;
- can define web design with CSS;
- can add interaction and control media playback with Javascript.
