Course aims
To depict the state of the art in Human-Computer Interactions by critically guiding the student through a selection of recent texts on the subject.
Brief description of the course
This course covers current research trends in Human-Computer Interaction. We use a mix of recent book chapters and papers from conferences and journals of the last few years to give you an idea of the hot topics that are being worked on in the international research community.
Independent work
Write two article reviews based on titles selected by the teacher.
Write a single-spaced 4 page long essay, based at least on 3 relevant sources, which will be assessed over its rational, depth and reference soundness.
Comment on three peer written essays.
Learning outcomes in the course
Students get an understanding of the state of the art in Human-Computer Interaction.
