Course aims
Establish comprehension of UI design process. Provide practical experience of relevant phases and choices in UI design through participation in development of a web or mobile application.
Brief description of the course
Definition of UI. Visual, auditory and tactile UI. Choice of design methods upon the purpose of an application. Planning the UI based on a design concept. Prototyping. Reporting the course project: development of UI for a web or mobile application based on a predefined concept.
Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:
- chooses suitable methods and tools based on the predefined concept;
- applies the methods for planning and designing the UI;
- collaborates in the team according to the given role;
- participates in compilation of product documentation.
