Course aims

Providing skills to build simple and practical web applications. Providing an overview of network systems and most essential standards and technologies.

Brief description of the course

Practical skills in the following fields: using HTML and DHTML in order to create webpages, design and technology principles of webpages. PHP and MySQL. Ajax, SPA (Single Page Applications), Web API, REST.

Learning outcomes in the course

Upon completing the course the student:
- has an ability to understand the construction of web applications created with the help of different programming languages;
- can compare different web design instruments.
