Course aims

Create the prerequisites for designing and programming simple web pages.

Brief description of the course

Web creation principles and yools. Available file formats. HTML, basic layouts of style sheets. Code formatting. Standards and validation. Content management systems. Principles and practical output of model creation. Code management. Adaptive Web.
An overview of web programming using scripting languages. JavaScript syntax, interfaces. Node.JS. JSON.

Learning outcomes in the course

Upon completing the course the student:
- be familiar with the structure and use of HTML;
- is able to read HTML and CSS files;
- is familiar with the basic principles of creating a content management system template and is able to apply them.
