To get an overview of sport organisations and their management system and to get readiness for analysis of different forms of sports organisational activity/work.
Brief description of the course
The course consists of five modules: organisational structure and regulation of sport; value structures and ethics in sport; administering in sport organisations, management resources and projects in sport organisations. Independent work includes reading course material, writing sport organisation analysis and project, web-based participation in forums and group work.

Learning outcomes in the course
Students will acquire:
- Knowledge of regulative mechanism in sport and of how sport activities are organised.
- Ability to understand the challenges associated with administration and leadership in sport.
- Ability to understand value structures and ethics in sport
- Ability to analyse organisational and management activities in sports organisations and write projects.
