Course aims

Provide overview of geographical factors having impact on recreation recreational opportunities in worldwide

Brief description of the course

Relationship between recreation and geography. Recreational geography and leisure: daily recreation, weekend recreation, free time recreation. Nature based and human geographical elements of recreational destination. Geographical conditions for recreational activities in different geographical areas.

Learning outcomes in the course

Upon completing the course the student:
knows the factors with impact on recreation and their importance on planning recreational activities
can analyze impact of important geographical factors in planning recreational activities and choosing the destination
