Course aims
¤ To give a basic knowledge about general part of the administrative law.
¤ Explain the meaning and main principles of the Administrative Law.
¤ To give an overview of administrative organization, actions and about these forms.
¤ To explain the nature of administrative control and foundations of tort liability of public authorities.
Brief description of the course
The course deals with following topics of general part of administrative law: the object, constitutional principles, terms and sources of administrative law; administrative organisation; administrative activities and their types; administrative procedure; administrative enforcement; administrative control and tort liability of public authorities.
Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:
- knows general therms and principles of Administrative Law and procedure;
- knows substantial court decisions and knows how to use it;
- can explain the meaning of administrative control, understands basics of state responsibility and can follow principles of good administration;
- knows administrative procedure and can implement appropriate court decisions in giving juridical assessment and solving cases.
