Course aims
Create possibilities and implement knowledge and skills to support the development of a child with special needs in the conditions of .
Create possibility to conduct independently learning-rearing process in cooperation with group team and support specialists
Brief description of the course
A student works independently in the group of ecual opportunities and inclusive studies .
The national curriculum for pre-school educational establishments. Annual plan and curriculum of a pre-school. Action plan, week plan, daily routine and everyday activities for the goup of ecual opportunities and inclusive studies .
The organisation of work and learning activities depending on the children’s special need(s). Using games in the learning process of children with special needs. Teamwork in the group and kindergarten, cooperation with support specialists. Communication with parents, educational counseling of a family.
Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:
After the course the student:
• Notices children’s special needs, takes them into consideration in her practical activity, analyzes child’s development
• Plans and independently conducts learning processes integrating different subject areas, considering the child’s/children’s special needs
• Plans and independently carries out daily activities of the group, instructs children’s games, chooses suitable games and toys for them considering their special needs, involves child/ren with special needs in games
• Uses creativity to shape educational environment and values games as a part of raising a child
• Takes an active part in the teamwork of kindergarten
• Communicates with parents, gives correct and adequate information, gives them pedagogical advice if necessary.
• Analyses and evaluates her own professional skills.
