Course aims

To unite didactics knowledge to the school reality;
To support students’ skills of socializing with the (future) school being a teacher;
To promote on students’ experience and development as a teacher of the subject.

Brief description of the course

Introduction seminar. Observation of the lessons. Practical studies in secondary school classes (2 weeks): observations of the lessons, analysing and giving lessons. Final seminar.

Learning outcomes in the course

Upon completing the course the student:
Is able to see connections between school reality and acquired knowledge from the didactical course;
Is able to act in school and to comprehend the role of a teacher, based on the observed material;
Is able to conduct lessons:
a. comprehending the knowledge on the subject, connected to them skills and role of the values in the process of pupils’ development;
b. knowing the contents of the subject;
c. using proper methods of teaching.
