Course aims
To give an overview of human resource management and its developmental problems in organizations. To introduce different areas of human resource management and to give basic knowledge for working with humans.
Brief description of the course
History of human resource and its developmental areas. International trends. Role of human resource management. Trends in labour market. Human resource planning Job analysis and job description. Recruitment amd employee selection. Newcomers orientation in organization.Performance appraisal. Planning training and development. Compensation and benefits.
Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:
- is able to analyze work-related situations in psychological view;
- is able to use basic knowledge of human resourse management and development in practice;
- knows the importance of human resource management´s different aspects.
