Course aims
To develop the skills of the students in planning out the learning process and executing the said process and to enable them to apply the acquired knowledge in practice.
Brief description of the course
Didactics materials acquired during the course will be put into practice in real life school situations.
The student will prepare 5 subject-centered gymnasium assignments (internship assignments) relaying on the didactics course of geography,for which they will receive feedback from the teachers, their co-students and their professor. Auditorial type of work will take place in the form of a seminar.
The assignments will be completed in the school grounds regarding to the individual plan of action (in agreement with the school sided authority/tutor). Auditorial type of work will take place in the form of a seminar.In addition there will be practical assignments performed in school.
Independent work: Composing a study folder, which would contain assignments that were carried out at school ,as well as in the university and the received feedback.
Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:
-will be ready to apply the following techniques in their main internship
- creating a powerpoint program containing the content of the subject or a computer based worksheet;
- forming 10 oral questions to conduct an explanatory conversation according to Bloom's taxonomy model;
- finding a fitting theme based educational clip (maximum 10 minutes) from the internet and using it to explain the methodology;
- conducting a scripted test according to Bloom's taxonomy model;
- applying some elements of the creative implementation.
