Course aims
Aim of which is to give an overview physical condition of Continents (relationship between different components of landscape and relationship between people and nature in different bioms).
Brief description of the course
Physical Conditions of Continents (location, relief connected with geological structure and development, climate, water, soil, natural zones). Relationships between people and nature on different continents. The development of geographical global vision of the Europeans.
Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:
- has knowledges about overall natural nomothetic and process in different continents;
- knows world geographical map.
- can prepare a description of an area using information sources and is familiar with map nomenclature.
