Course aims

- To promote the mastering in skills necessary for field works in ecology;
- To promote the mastering in skills necessary for distinguishing between basic plant communities.

Brief description of the course

During the field course the participants will get to know different plant and animal communities and learn about the co-existence of plants and animals. At the end of the course, all participants need to write a report.

Learning outcomes in the course

Upon completing the course the student:
- has ability to recognize main species of different communities;
- has ability to distinguish between communities according to species composition and general structure;
- has skills to study and describe plant and animal communities.
