Course aims

Students acquire the basic principles and practical skills of fashion drawing and pattern makings.

Brief description of the course

Theoretical basis of pattern making. Designing and sewing clothes. The instruction of graphic execution and presentation of fashion drawings. Work with the figure, outlines of demonstration works and completed compositions.

Learning outcomes in the course

Upon completing the course the student:
- has skills of creative approach to design the items of clothes;
- has achieved sense of fashion design drawing`s stylistics and proportions;
- has skills to work out presentation drawings with multiple figures.
