Course aims
To integrate the organisation of cultural events and the facilitation of creative activities by providing opportunities to learn from professionals in the field, to lead creative projects from idea to implementation in an ethical and sustainable manner, and to apply in practice what has been learned in the methodology course on facilitating creative activities.
Brief description of the course
The course description in the source file combines elements of professional practice and the creative economy; in practical terms, the course is oriented towards workplace-based professional experience, project leadership, the facilitation of creative activities and reflective portfolio development.
Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:
- plans and leads creative projects, drawing on practical experience in initiating and carrying out a cultural event;
- analyses and reflects on the process, linking practice with contemporary theories and assessing the social impact of the work;
- plans and implements interdisciplinary creative activities, solving creative problems and managing resources;
- builds and develops a professional portfolio on the basis of the practice experience.
