Course aims
The aim of the course is to develop the students' ability to think and make the right choices in a constantly changing market conditions including increasing activity of competitors, constant development of information and communication technologies, the growth of social media applications.
Brief description of the course
The role of a marketing in the organization's governance structure; the theoretical foundations of pricing decisions; pricing strategy in competition situations; brand management, product portfolio optimization; the role of salesin in marketing; event marketing as part of the marketing communications; postmodern marketing; The role of marketing in different Estonian companies (corporate marketing managers perspective).
Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:
- is able to analyze the marketing activities of competitors;
- has needed knowledge to make more informed decisions in the field of marketing;
- is able to implement a variety of effective forms of marketing and give a reasoned assessment of their marketing activities;
- has experience in providing innovative solutions and applications.
