Course aims
To create the preconditions for the development of the following competencies: skill to analyze, project and create an image, skill to develop and implement scientific methods of communication strategy, skill in analytical and critical thinking.
Brief description of the course
How to perceive the distinct image phenomenon in the field of public relations and public image building, the value of image in the value structure of a product, image as a phenomenon of individual and social psychology ( individual and corporate image). The ``soft`` and strict scientific methods of image analysis are explored. Students learn to compare images and measure the level of their conformity.
Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:
- is qualified to act as an image consultant to individuals and corporations, i.e. is capable of analyzing an existing image and offering ways to change it;
- can plan a completely new image;
- is familiar with professional terminology and can apply it appropriately.
