Course aims
To support the development of practical skills and competences in educational technology so as to make use of the opportunities, methods and tools for digital technology to diversify the learning process at different levels of education.
Brief description of the course
Digital competences of teacher and learner. Blog and website: Creating and managing an e-portfolio. Implementation options for digital tools in educational institutions (including in the learning process) (e.g. multimedia (picture, sound, audio, video) and options for creating them. ICT and games (ICT-based learning games and programmes, creating a learning game based on QR codes). Browser-based study environments and programmes. Copyrights. Quality of study materials and licences (Creative Commons). Web-based tests and questionnaires. Educational technologist counselling and training, e-learning courses, e-projects. ICT and learning scenarios.
Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:
- analyses their education technology competence and ICT implementation possibilities based on the needs and possibilities of the field in order to support learning and teaching;
- plans and prepares computer-based learning materials using ICT tools and shares them in an online environment;
- uses ICT opportunities when planning and conducting learning and teaching.
