Course aims

To provide theoretical knowledge and practical skills for the creation of multimedia-based software; to develop the ability to choose appropriate types of media and methods of interaction, as well as to evaluate usability of multimedia-based software.

Brief description of the course

As part of teamwork, the student creates a working prototype of an interactive game or played application.

Learning outcomes in the course

Upon completing the course the student:
- can choose multimedia elements appropriate for his/her aims;
- creates a dynamic webpage on WordPress;
- designs the graphics of a video game;
- creates simple audio clips; creates a video game prototype.
