Course aims
Establish an understanding of the different marketing techniques and levels, marketing theories and marketing history. As well an understanding of business communication with customers, partners, competitors and publicity. How to analyze the market situation , marketing materials and to construct solutions by using a variety of different techniques of marketing and communication.

Brief description of the course
Course consists of lectures, reading materials and individual works.
After the course student:
is familiar with the theories of marketing and communications;
knows how to distinguish and interpret marketing communications;
can decode marketing messages, analyze them and to assess their impact;
is able to understand interaction of different communication techniques;
knows how to distinguish different levels of business communication techniques;
is able to recognize a different target groups and to choose for them appropriate communication methods;
understands marketing and business communication goals, opportunities and needs;
can plan communication and marketing activities and use them systematically
Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:
- knows contemporary marketing and business communication theories, to understand and plan strategic communication and tactics;
- can decode and analyze the messages and their impact to marketing and business practices.
