Brief description of the course
The course consists of practical training sessions aimed at further developing technical precision, coordination, balance and expressiveness within the classical ballet training system. The learning process emphasises movement quality, phrasing and the conscious execution of technical elements.
The course includes:
barre exercises at an intermediate level;
centre work developing coordination, balance and movement phrasing;
allegro combinations including small, medium and large jumps (grand allegro).

The learning process is practice-based and requires participation in at least 85% of contact sessions.
Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:
- performs the fundamental elements of classical ballet with improved technical control and awareness;
- understands the relationship between ballet phrasing and musical structure and applies it in movement execution;
- understands the terminology of classical ballet and relates it to the technical structure of movement;
- applies fundamental movement principles and anatomically informed body use in ballet training;
- applies the functional principles of technical elements while considering individual body structure and movement logic.
