Course aims
To create opportunities for the development of preparedness to plan, carry out and evaluate training and development activities.
Brief description of the course
Training activities in the public, private and third sectors. Forms of training. Analysis of the training market. Planning of training activities, including e-learning in an organisation. Planning of training projects: planning for activities and resources. Analysis of the needs and the input and output of a training project, determining the target group. Analysis of the need for training, methods and principles. Planning of training, preparing the training plan and budget. Preparing an invitation to training and a training offer. Carrying out and assessing the training project (criteria, objects, types), reporting and analysis. The training team and roles in the team. The role of communication in managing the training project. Creating a justified and objective evaluation process and relevant evaluation models. Justification of implementation and evaluation possibilities in different situations of adult learning. International training projects as the planning, carrying out and evaluating of multicultural learning situations.
Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:
- has awareness of the principles of training activities in the public, private and third sectors;
- understands the training process as a systemic development process;
- is able to plan training in accordance with the results of the analysis of training needs;
- understands the theoretical basis of planning, carrying out and evaluating the training project;
- plan and evaluate the training project;
- is able to justify their selection and use of appropriate evaluation models.
