Course aims
To develop skills for editing language, as well as the content of different types of text.
Brief description of the course
Acquisition of necessary skills for editing basic texts. Principles of editing. Specifics of content and language editing of different text types (non-fiction, newspaper, magazine, fiction, and academic texts). Cooperation with the author and layout designer of the text.
Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:
Student has necessary skills for editing basic texts. Knows principles of editing. Is able to edit different text types (non-fiction, newspaper, magazine, fiction, and academic texts). Can cooperate with the author and layout designer of the text.
