Course aims
To create prerequisites for obtaining knowledge and skills, what are necessary to integrate children with special needs to PE lessons of regular school.
Brief description of the course
Student participating in the course gets a review of: developmental conseption of basic movement skills and sensorimotor and cognitive developmental stages.
Basic knowledge of the most common diagnosis of people with special needs and possibilitys of making adaptions for the schools PE classes and trainings.
Practical knowledge to assess functional ability of children with special needs and documenting the results and creation of customized programs.
During the practice the student will acquire expirience to conduct PE classes for children with special needs.

Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:
- understands the morpho-functional nature of special needs;
- can evaluate sensory-motor skills and fitness of people with special needs;
- can compose physical activity program according to evaluation results for every peoplel with special needs;
- knows all the indications and contraindications for physical activity in case of variable disability;
