Course aims

Support the preparation of event marketing projects, project proposals and development of analysing skill. To provide knowledge about various processes involved in organising the events, and overview of the resources related to the field.

Brief description of the course

Event production process: Types of events, event production process, creativity, budgeting, organising events, legislation, contracts, risk management and security. Production management: timelines and logistics, forming a team, execution of the event, summaries.

Event production resources: facilities suitable for events, sound, lighting and video equipment, decorations, stage and stage equipment, tent solutions, catering, electricity, rigging systems, support facilities (backstage, hygiene, etc.).

Learning outcomes in the course

Upon completing the course the student:
- has the basic knowledge of events production, is able to plan and budget an event;
- is able to plan logistics and prepare technical events schedules;
- has the knowledge of the solutions in sound, lighting and video field;
- is able to plan the necessary resources for executing an event.
