Course aims
To support the development of practical skills for using different computer and internet possibilities, methods and tools to increase the diversity of activities in kindergarten.
Brief description of the course
The rules and possibilities of using computer. Digital communication, e-mail. Possibilities of Internet. The rules of using Internet. Blog, homepage. Using polls in kindergarten. The possibilities of using web-based polls. Pictures. Searching pictures from Internet. Editing pictures. Different picture editing software. Using pictures in kindergarten learning process. Drawing in computer. Various drawing software. Internet pages, that help teacher to make the learning processes in kindergarten more diverse. Slide shows in kindergarten learning process. Creating slideshows (PowerPoint, GoogleDocs, OpenOffice, Prezi). Crosswords and worksheets in kindergarten learning process. Diplomas, letter of thanks, calendars, etc. from the Internet. Learning programs for preschoolers and using them in learning process. Puzzle in learning process. Programs that help to compose puzzles.
