Course aims

The objective of the course is to analyse possible individual characteristics of children in pre-school age.

Brief description of the course

Concepts. An individual. Personality. Various descriptions of child development. Regularities of child development. Children developing fast and slow. Talented children. Children with special needs. Deviations from normal development. Hyperactive children. Autism. Adapting learning and educational activities based on children`s individual characteristics.

Learning outcomes in the course

Upon completing the course the student:
Ability to notice and consider children`s individual characteristics.
Skill of planning teaching based on children`s individual characteristics.
