Course aims
Create opportunities for understanding the professional development of a preschool teacher and build student’s preparedness for analysing one’s practical activities
Brief description of the course
The models of teacher’s professional development. Different roles of a preschool teacher and development of professionalism in the context of lifelong learning. Preschool teacher as a self-managing learner. Teacher’s values and the principles and concepts of professional-ethics. The basis for the evaluation of preschool teacher’s activities in addition to factors and possibilities influencing self-analysis. Self-analysis as the supporter of preschool teacher’s professional development
Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:
