Course aims

The course seeks to develop understanding of the main principles, models and theories in the field of counselling.

Brief description of the course

History of counselling. Counselling psychology and ethics.
The client-counsellor relationship.The counselling process. Introduction to theories of psychotherapy and counselling.

Learning outcomes in the course

Upon completing the course the student:
- understands of the main principles, models and theories in the field of counselling.
