Course aims
Subject of the teacher training programme. Computer software used in school mathematics, mailgroups and portals devoted to the subject. Creation of computer based teaching aids for mathematics.
Brief description of the course
Uses of the BASIC language for teaching and learning mathematics. Teaching geometry by using the package GeomeTrics (discovering geometry, elements of differential geometry, fractals). The programmes Tabletalk, Pattern and Funktion. Uses of the computer in primary and secondary school. The programme, StudyWorks and its uses. Computer based creation of worksheets and educational aids. Illustration of theoretical material using visual aids from StudyWorks. The programmes, Graphmatica, Poly, GrafEq and Tess. The programme Theory of Probability for the 12th. class and Spirograaf. Short review of the WebPages devoted to computers in school mathematics corresponding mailgroups, newsgroups, forums and portals.

Eksami hindamiskriteeriumid :
A 91–100 punkti. Silmapaistev ja eriti laiapõhjaline õpiväljundite saavutamise tase, mida iseloomustab väga head taset ületav teadmiste ja oskuste vaba ning loov kasutamine.

B 81–90 punkti. Väga heal tasemel õpiväljundite saavutamine, mida iseloomustab teadmiste ja oskuste eesmärgipärane ja loov kasutamine. Spetsiifilisemate ja detailsemate teadmiste ja oskuste osas võivad ilmneda mittesisulised ja mittepõhimõttelised eksimused.

C 71–80 punkti. Heal tasemel õpiväljundite saavutamine, mida iseloomustab teadmiste ja oskuste eesmärgipärane kasutamine. Spetsiifilisemate ja detailsemate teadmiste ja oskuste osas avaldub ebakindlus ja ebatäpsus.

D 61–70 punkti. Piisaval tasemel õpiväljundite saavutamine, mida iseloomustab teadmiste ja oskuste kasutamine tüüpolukordades, erandlikes olukordades avalduvad puudujäägid ja ebakindlus.

E 51–60 punkti. Minimaalselt lubataval tasemel olulisemate õpiväljundite saavutamine, mida iseloomustab teadmiste ja oskuste kasutamine tüüpolukordades piiratud viisidel, erandlikes olukordades avalduvad märgatavad puudujäägid ning ebakindlus
